The garment of a child


The garment of a child made from linen and wool. The main part is woven in one piece from green wool with a hole cut and hemmed for the neck, and an oblong piece inset for the neck fastening which consists of two linen tassels. The shaped sleeves are inset and there are two gussets to give fullness. The seams are sewn in natural linen.
Ends per inch (warp threads): 24.
